Family Baking Classes
Christmas time is a family affair! We are hosting 4 fun-filled family baking classes led by Executive Pastry Chef Fabrice Bouet. Chef Bouet and the Pastry Team plan to show families how to create the some signature holiday treats. Classes are being offered from 2- 4:00pm at $20 per person and include sweets to take home!

Holiday Hearth Warming
On behalf of all of your family at the Palmer House, please accept our best wishes for a joyous Holiday Season. As a memory of your visit with us, our culinary team has prepared this edible Holiday Hearth in the Palmer House's world renowned Pastry Kitchen. The creation of our Executive Pastry Chef extraordinaire Fabrice Francois Bouet from Lyons, France, the Hearth represents over 150 man hours of work. It is composed of 250 pounds of freshly made Gingerbread, 200 pounds of Royal Icing and 90 pounds of Belgian chocolate.

Offering an array of delicious dishes for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
Guests can enjoy the specialty menu at Lockwood on Christmas Eve from 5 - 10 p.m. and Christmas Day from 5 - 9 p.m.
The four course dinner prix fixe menu for adults is $76 and for children (4 - 10 years old) is $30.
Additionally, Lockwood's famous breakfast buffet will be available Christmas Eve from 6:30 - 11 a.m. and Christmas Day from 6:30 - 2 p.m.
Lunch will be available Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Four hour complimentary self-parking is available at 55 E. Monroe Parking Garage, receive parking validation at Lockwood Restaurant & Bar's host stand.

Afternoon tea service is available from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., allowing you the opportunity to enjoy a classic teatime in the famed lobby of The Palmer House Hilton. Prices are set at $40 for adults and $20 for children and will include an assortment of teas, gourmet sandwiches, pastries and petit fours.

History is Hott!!
Palmer House Hilton's "History is Hott" Tour is the winner of the 2013 Illinois Meetings & Event's Editor's Pick for the Best City Tour.
This interactive luncheon and tour series is presented by Director of Public Relations, Ken Price, a 29-year resident historian of the property.
Our historic luncheon and tour begins at 12:00 p.m. with lunch inside Lockwood, the property's modern American fare restaurant. A prix-fixe menu will be prepared featuring a salad and entre along with the hotel's world-famous brownie and a glass of wine to go serving as the ideal accompaniment for the tour afterwards. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with each other prior to the tour.
After lunch, guests will meet Ken at 1:30pm for about a 1 hour and 15 minute lecture in the historic hotel's museum. Following the lecture Ken will navigate guests through the hotel for highlighting the art-deco lobby, grand ballrooms, and vintage artifacts showcased throughout the famed property. These sites aren't typically open to the public, so guests on the tour will have an exclusive insider view. Please allow yourself 60 minutes. At the conclusion of the tour participants will each receive a treat that embodies the true spirit of the hotel.
Lunch and tour reservations are $65 per person* and need to be made 24-hours in advance. Tours will be offered Tuesday through Saturday and are subject to availability.
